The Kernel of the Mission

Micah 6:8 is the central text for Noble Road Presbyterian Church.  Jesus encapsulated the authority of the Law and the Prophets into one command: You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, and with all your mind. … You must also love your neighbor as you love yourself. (Mt. 22:37-39 CEB)  Okay, so that’s two commands, and maybe three if you include the instruction to love yourself!  At the heart of it is love!  Or, as Micah says, faithful love.  Out of love for God and neighbor and self flows the mission to advocate for justice and peace for the planet entrusted to our care.  The thing is, we are not required to live this mission alone.  Noble Road Presbyterian Church has discovered the great value in collaborating with people and organizations which share a similar calling.  Thus, involvement with partnerships is a major way we live out our mission.  As stated above, we are always interested in partnering with communities of peace, justice, and inclusion.  If you are being nudged to share a vision of collaboration with us, please contact the church office.  We trust the Holy Spirit continues to be at work!  216.382.0660.
